To Wine & Dine

As we had worked on several projects with these clients in the past, we knew of their appreciation for interior design, quality furnishings & beautiful decor. After completing a walkthrough of the newly purchased home, areas that needed eminent decorative attention, such as the dining and sitting room were discussed. The mudroom, laundry, bedrooms, & powder rooms were also to receive updates, such as window coverings, wallpaper & area rugs but on a simpler note. An updated kitchen was also on the renovation list, so once the flooring, cabinet colors & countertops were selected, we had a base palette to plan our design scheme from.

After showing us her desired vision of the space, we discussed pieces such as the dining table and piano that were key for us to incorporate within the adjoint rooms. After devising a couple furniture plans that determined a good flow we discussed with our clients the furniture layout, they felt suited them best. A multitude of fabric samples paired with rugs and custom furniture options were then presented to our clients to review. Particularly keen on blue, we knew the incorporation of these tones & hues in the space were of importance to our client. Wanting the space to feel elegant but not overly formal, we combined furniture & fabrics with a variety of patterns, shapes, textures, and colors to create a space that had a timeless yet comfortable feel. Rustic, traditional, and contemporary pieces amongst the art, pillows, lighting, and accessories keeps the space feeling modern and current but still encompasses the beauty of a traditionally collected space.
